You get the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with the comfort of an indoor ceremony and reception space, which makes the day feel easy and stress-free from start to finish. One of my favorite things about this couple was how present they were throughout the entire day. It feels bright and open while still keeping everything intimate. You could hear the quiet sniffles, laughter among guests, and nervous excitement between the couple before the vows even started. These little in-between moments are always some of my favorites to capture. As the bride or groom, you’re fully in the moment and don’t get the chance to see it all, so I’m there to be your extra set of eyes and document everything happening around you while you’re busy living it.

The indoor ceremony and reception spaces are bright, modern, and filled with natural light, while the property itself offers beautiful outdoor locations for portraits throughout the day. Between the open grassy areas, the stunning stone architecture, and all of the little tucked-away corners, there’s so much variety without ever having to leave the venue. Whether the sun is shining or the weather decides to do its own thing (because…Texas), there are beautiful photo opportunities around every corner.
The Preserve at Canyon Lake also has so many beautiful spots for wedding party and couples photos no matter the time of day. Between the open grassy areas and nooks and crannies around the beautiful stone building, you can get a nice variety for your wedding gallery. Whether the sun is bright or hiding behind clouds, there is always somewhere that photographs beautifully!
