As an ATX wedding photographer, I always love photographing weddings at The Preserve at Canyon Lake! You get the beauty of the Texas Hill Country with the comfort of an indoor ceremony and reception space, which makes the day feel easy and stress free from start to finish. Because let’s be honest, Texas weather can be unpredictable and sometimes extreme. (Hello summer heat and random flash floods!)
The indoor ceremony space is elegant and modern with tall ceilings, clean lines, and large windows that let in the prettiest natural light. It feels bright and open while still keeping everything intimate. You could hear the quiet sniffles, laughter among guests, and nervous excitement between the couple before their the vows even started. These little in between moments are always some of my favorites to capture. As a bride or groom, you are fully in the moment and don’t get the chance to see it all so I’m here to be your extra set of eyes and document all the in-between moments for you!
The Preserve at Canyon Lake also has so many beautiful spots for wedding party and couples photos no matter the time of day. Between the open grassy areas and nooks and crannies around the beautiful stone building, you can get a nice variety for your wedding gallery. Whether the sun is bright or hiding behind clouds, there is always somewhere that photographs beautifully!
