As an Austin couples photographer, sessions at Lake Georgetown are some of my favorites for laid back, adventurous date night vibes!
These two showed up in jeans, ready to hang out and have fun! No pressure. No overthinking outfits. Just good energy and an openness to just “be”. These are the best types of sessions, when you aren’t overly concerned about being “photo ready” and enjoy the connection with your partner.
We wandered along the shoreline at Lake Georgetown, stumbling over rocks, laughing, and enjoying the hot summer evening. Lake Georgetown is such a good option for couples near Austin because it’s never too busy at sunset so it feels relaxed while still adventurous. You can move around, you can sit by the water, you can get a little messy. It didn’t take long before we decided to jump in. Jeans rolled up, shoes abandoned, full send! I love that they got soaked and didn’t care at all. It added to the “true summer evening” romantic movie vibe.
