Golden Hour Family Session in North Austin

There’s something so special about witnessing a family’s very first photo session together and this one had me MELTING from start to finish! I had the absolute joy of capturing a sweet family of three during a golden hour session at Balcones District Park in North Austin, and I’m so excited to share a little peek into their perfect evening.
Mom, Dad, and their adorable baby boy met me at the park just as the sun began to dip low in the sky, bathing everything in that dreamy golden-hour glow. This was baby’s very first photo shoot, and let me just say.. he’s already a natural in front of the camera! His bright eyes and chubby little cheeks completely stole the show (and my heart).
I felt honored to capture those little in-between moments — a kiss on baby’s cheek, mom and dad exchanging a quick grin, tiny fingers wrapped around mom’s thumb. These are the kinds of memories that only grow more special with time. This session was a beautiful reminder of how meaningful it is to pause and document these early days. Time flies so quickly, especially in that first year, and I love knowing this sweet family will be able to look back at these photos and relive this season for years to come.
