Let me take you on a little adventure to Tyler, Texas, where I had the pleasure of capturing Corinna and Quinn’s engagement session. When Corinna first reached out, she mentioned wanting something more unique than the typical downtown cityscape—a location that felt more natural, laid-back, and reflective of their love story. Even though I wasn’t from the area, you already know, as your photographer, I GOTCHU when it comes to scouting the perfect spot!
After some digging and virtual exploring, I curated a list of scenic spots in East Texas that offered the kind of outdoor charm they were looking for. That’s when we stumbled upon the hidden gem: Pine Cove Shores. From the moment we arrived, I knew we nailed it. This place had everything—towering pine trees, an open field with all the whimsical vibes, and peaceful lakeside views that added a calm, romantic touch. One of my favorite things about this session: Corinna and Quinn were just so effortlessly themselves. Their connection was obvious from the very start—whether they were wrapped in each other’s arms under the tall pines or laughing as the golden-hour sun reflected off the lake, every moment felt authentic and full of love. They were completely open to direction, down for anything, and fully present the entire time—which always makes a huge difference. When a couple comes into their session ready to be themselves and have fun, that’s when the magic happens!
